Tudor and Stuart Shrewsbury: An interactive map resource for schools


This interactive map of Shrewsbury allows you to look at a number of themes rating to Tudor Shrewsbury such as religion, law and order, and the lives of the rich and poor.
It links you to pages where the people of the Tudor town tell you about their daily lives.
You can also look at the appearance of the Tudor town through old images of the buildings that lined its streets, many of which have long since disappeared.
You can download a Tudor Shrewsbury activities trail aimed at KS2 school visits by clicking on the link below.

Click on the coloured button to take you to the part of the town you want. Then click on the highlighted area. You can then click on the Tudor town themes you want in the same way on the expanded map.
