Highley Parish Registers, 1551-1600

Highley is unusual in having a parish register that covers the second half of the 16th Century. Whilst all churches were meant to keep registers at this period, many have been lost. For the first few years it appears to be incomplete, but from the 1560s onwards it is probably a fairly comprehensive record of births, deaths and marriages in the parish.
