Searching the Archives

You can use this database to search for information about the records held at Shropshire Archives. The database currently contains over 100,000 entries describing records from a wide range of collections. Please note that not all our collections are included but more are being added all the time.

How to Search the Archives Collections

To run a search you can simply use the search window at the top of the website. Your search results will include items from the archives. Click on the link to view details of any particular records. You can then navigate around the collection to find other records which may be of interest.

New - local books and articles

Items from Shropshire's local studies libraries are now included on this database and can be searched by title.
