Fossil of the Permian Period

Fossil plant stem from Almington Quarry, donated by Peggy Fox. This particularly fine specimen, about 10 incles long, is from the Permian period, so is 250 million years old.
Donations are always welcome, providing they fit with the Museum's policy of concentrating on items made in Drayton or with a strong Drayton connection (going beyond ownership by a Drayton person).
