Our next exhibition is called
"A Touch of Glamour" which opens on the 3rd of February and closes on 30th March 2007.
The exhibition, features stunning evening dresses from the 40s, 50s & 60s, together with the unveiling of a specially commissioned recycled evening dress designed by textile student Becky Griffiths.
Evening dresses by Norman Hartnell and Dior are also on display having been loaned from a private collection.
The exhibition is accompanied by a series of workshops, illustrated talks and a coach trip to The American Museum in Britain.
Entrance to the exhibition is free and opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am until 5.00pm. Closed Thursdays. The costs for workshops and trips can be found in the leaflet and booking form documents attached to this page. The files are approximately 390 Kb and 50Kb in size.
