Hereford Probate Acts

In the Hereford Record Office is a list of probate acts granted prior to 1540. This is effectively a list of individuals who made wills. Unfortunately in most cases the wills themselves do not survive, but the list gives useful information on families living locally who were sufficiently wealthy to make wills.
