The Archaeology Service offers a comprehensive range of archaeological site services for developers, contractors, heritage groups, and others throughout the county of Shropshire. These services include:
project design and management,
desk-based assessments,
archaeology chapters for environmental impact assessments,
earthwork surveys and field walking surveys,
site evaluations,
rescue and research excavations,
watching briefs and archaeological monitoring of site works,
co-ordination of specialists - e.g. geophysical surveys, finds assessments, environmental sampling and analysis,
archive and report preparation,
site interpretation.
