The main collection of artefacts consists of over some 1,000 objects. Due to limited space it is not possible for everything to be on display at one time.

The Story of Drayton
The front room is the former shop. This has the 'time line' giving a brief history of the Market Drayton area in words, pictures, maps and objects, from a 150 million year old fossil up to the present day.

Drayton's History and Heritage
The next room was the main living area of the former house. Together with kitchen, toilet, yard and wash-house, this has a changing series of displays. Currently these include:
